(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived in Hanoi Friday morning, concluding a successful state visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the two-day visit, PM Chinh engaged in 20 activities in various fields, held meetings with the Prime Minister, the President, the Vice President and Chairman of the Upper House and the Speaker of the Lower House of India.
The Vietnamese PM also met with leaders of several Indian political parties, attended the Vietnam-India business forum, worked with India’s leading economic groups, delivered a policy speech at the Indian Council of World Affairs, visited the Vietnamese Embassy in India, and met with representatives of the Vietnamese community in India.
The two sides signed nine cooperative documents in healthcare, justice, diplomacy, human resources training, agricultural science, broadcasting, tourism, culture, and agriculture, as well as 10 business deals in infrastructure, logistics, aviation, tourism, culture, and pharmaceuticals.
PM Chinh’s India visit has turned a page in the Vietnam-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership toward broader and more substantial cooperation.
