Policies for Vietnamese victims of AO/dioxin reviewed
(VOVworld)- A workshop on reviewing policies for victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin opened in Hanoi on Monday. The participants discussed criteria to identify victims of Agent Orange, their lives and illnesses, the socialization of care for the victims and the role of the Association for Victims of Agent Orange in realizing related policies. Over the past few years, the Vietnamese Party and State have paid special attention to tackling the consequences of Agent Orange/Dioxin. The State has put in place several measures on decontamination and incentives for war veterans who have been infected by toxic chemicals.
