Politburo member To Huy Rua hails Japanese special advisor’s support
(VOVworld) – Politburo member To Huy Rua met with the visiting special advisor Tsutomo Takebe to the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance, who pledged to foster exchanges between Vietnamese and Japanese parliamentarians.

Rua, who is also head of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission and President of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, hailed the political support of Mr. Tsutomo as the alliance’s former chairman and his current practical contributions to enhancing cooperative programs in training and exchange of culture.
Tsutomo Takebe said Japanese parliamentarians have expressed their support to the Japan-Vietnam University (JVU) by setting up a group to discuss the launch of master courses in September 2016, and doctorate courses and other faculties beyond 2019.
He spoke highly of the comprehensive progress of bilateral ties and practical operation of the Vietnam-Japan and Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians’ Groups.
