According to the Politburo, the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, all levels and branches have effectively led, directed and managed and successfully organized the 13^th National Party Congress. They successfully completed many important tasks in building the Party and political system, socio-economic development, national defense, security, foreign affairs, and anti-corruption.

The Politburo called for greater efforts to make election of the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term a success.

The Politburo asked for better prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic and socio-economic development, continued fine-tuning personnel work and organizational apparatus, and building regulations and work processes to ensure that the entire political system works continuously, smoothly, and effectively.

Also at this meeting, the Politburo agreed to assign four Politburo members to join the 13^th Party Central Committee’s Secretariat. They are Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Central Organizing Commission, Tran Cam Tu, Head of the Central Inspection Commission, Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.
