(VOVworld) - The Hue Relics Preservation Centre and the German Conservation, Restoration & Education Projects (GCREP) held a ceremony on July 17 to mark the completion of a project to preserve and restore the interior decoration of Ta Vu-Dai Noi Hue (Mandarin’s House).

The project had a total investment capital of more than 158,000 EUR, of which nearly 140,000 EUR was from Germany. Ta Vu was built in the early 19^th century, in the area of the Purple Forbidden City, following the Nguyen Dynasty’s architectural style. Phan Thanh Hai is Director of the Hue Relics Preservation Centre: “Ta Vu is a harmonious blend of East and West in its architecture and fine arts decoration. It still maintains its old world charm. We coordinated with German experts to restore and renew the interior decoration.”
