President Ho Chi Minh’s 128th birthday marked nationwide
(VOVWORLD) - As part of activities to mark President Ho Chi Minh’s 128th birthday, the Lotus Village Singing Festival 2018 opened in Nghe An province on Thursday morning.

The event drew the participation of more than 700 performers and art troupes from 20 cities and provinces, including districts of Que Phong, Quy Hop, and Ky Son, towns of Hoang Mai and Cua Lo, and Vinh City. Folk songs representing local unique culture are performed at the festival.
On Tuesday, an exhibition entitled “Simple yet noble examples” opened at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi. The event features 100 photos, documents, and artifacts on President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and moral lifestyles, and the implementation of the Politburo’s Directive on encouraging people to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example. The exhibition will run until the end of May.
