During his meeting with President Phuc on Thursday, Mr. Sani said the visit will boost the strategic partnership and expressed his strong support for the agreements reached by the two countries.  

At a meeting with Speaker of the House of Representatives of Indonesia Puan Maharani, the two sides agreed to increase delegation exchanges at all levels to share experience and coordinate in monitoring bilateral cooperation agreements.

The two sides agreed to their close cooperation at other multilateral parliamentary forums, such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF), and back each other’s stance on regional and global issues of shared concern.

President Phuc also met staff of the Vietnamese Embassy, the Vietnamese delegation at ASEAN, and the Vietnamese community in Indonesia. Mr. Phuc expressed his pleasure at the success of many Vietnamese businesses, which helps promote Vietnamese brands to the world.
