President Nguyen Xuan Phuc receives Ambassadors presenting credentials
(VOVWORLD) - On Wednesday, at the Presidential Palace, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc received the Ambassadors of Argentina, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Romania who presented credentials to begin their missions in Vietnam.

Receiving Argentine Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino, the President said he hopes that the two sides will effectively promote dialogue and cooperation mechanisms in order to deepen the Vietnam-Argentina Comprehensive Partnership. President Phuc suggested promoting the possibility of negotiating a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the South American Common Market (Mercosur), of which Argentina is a member.
Congratulating New Zealand Ambassador Tredene Cherie Dobson on her mission in Vietnam, the President expected that the Ambassador will take many initiatives to promote cooperation between the two countries. He emphasized that Vietnam wishes to work with New Zealand and other parties to continue coordinating closely in the implementation of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and accelerate the process of ratification and implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Partnership Agreement (RCEP).
Receiving the Pakistani Ambassador Samina Mehtab, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said he believes that in her new position, the Ambassador will have many activities to promote relations between the two countries, especially economic and trade cooperation.
Talking to Romanian Ambassador Cristina Romila, the President affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the traditional friendship with Romania and expressed gratitude to Romania for actively supporting and promoting the signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA) during Romania's rotating EU presidency in the first half of 2019.
