President of National Council of Switzerland to visit Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - The President of the National Council of Switzerland, Martin Candinas, will pay an official visit to Vietnam from June 27-30 at the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

During the visit, Mr. Candinas will review the implementation of a technical assistance package worth 78.1 million USD for Vietnam from the Swiss Government for the 2021-2024 period, focusing on environmental protection and economic reform; and other Swiss projects in Vietnam.
Swiss Ambassador to Vietnam Thomas Gass said that the relationship between the two countries has developed strongly over the past 52 years, not only in politics and multilateral cooperation, but also in economic cooperation, technical assistance, trade and investment, and other fields.
