At the dialogue, Vietnam’s President Nguyen Xuan Phuc raised three proposals for stronger inter-regional cooperation: Strengthening cooperation in trade and investment facilitation, improving the efficiency of existing free trade agreement implementation and studying the possibility of forming new trade agreements; Experience sharing, policy dialogue on green growth, digital transformation; Studying the possibility of forming an annual dialogue mechanism between APEC and representatives of the European Union (EU), the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and some other regional organizations to enhance coordination between the forums or organizations and maintain momentum of cooperation.
