President Putin: Russia has no plan to change goals of its operation in Ukraine
(VOVWORLD) -Russian President Vladimir Putin says there is no need for a new round of mobilization – for now – because Ukraine has suffered ‘catastrophic’ losses in its counteroffensive.

On Tuesday at an open meeting with military journalists Putin said the basic goals of Russia's military operation in Ukraine remain the same and the Kremlin has no plans to change them. The mission will be adjusted by Russia based on developments on the battlefield. Putin asserted that the key to resolving the Ukraine problem lies with the West.
“If they really want to end the current conflict with negotiations, they need only make one decision – to stop supplying weapons and equipment to Ukraine,” said Putin.
President Putin said Russia may withdraw from the grain agreement, because its demands within the framework of the grain agreement have not been met, including demands related to transport, insurance, payments, and connecting Russia's Rosselkhozbank with the SWIFT payment system.
