At a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for a Japanese business delegation to the forum, President Sang reiterated bilateral political trust through the strategic partnership and the statement on the joint vision for bilateral relations issued during September visit to Japan by Vietnamese Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong.
Economically, Mr. Sang said many Japanese businesses and organizations including the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Japan Business Federation (KEIDAREN), and JICA are efficiently operating in Vietnam.
He expressed hope that Japan will continue taking the lead in trade, investment and supply of official development assistance to Vietnam.
Yuri Sato, JETRO’s Vice President, said more and more Japanese are interested in the Vietnamese market, as demonstrated in the number of more than 12,000 entrepreneurs seeking information via JETRO about doing business in Vietnam.
She assured that Japanese companies will help Vietnam improve its competitiveness and workforce quality.
