President says NA deputies must contribute to improving people's lives
(VOVWORLD) - A National Assembly deputy must listen to voters’ aspirations and promptly report voters’ legitimate petitions and opinions to the National Assembly, Party, State, and functional agencies to handle them, and contribute to improving the people's living standards, said President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Friday.

Mr. Phuc and other National Assembly deputy candidates had an online meeting with voters in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
He focused on the implementation of Ho Chi Minh City’s four development programs, which seeks ways to improve the quality of life in areas affected by floods and natural disasters, enhance competitiveness, and ensure a green and safe living environment.
The State President emphasized the need to promote national digital transformation programs, quickly transforming Ho Chi Minh City into a digital economy and a place of welcoming domestic and foreign talents.
President Phuc said he hopes Hoc Mon and Cu Chi districts will be the green ring of Ho Chi Minh City in the very near future. He urged for a master plan of Cu Chi and Hoc Mon development in light of regional development linkage. The President will soon preside over an investment promotion conference in these two districts.
