President Tran Dai Quang meets Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev

(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang met Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday during his ongoing official visit to Russia, which is coincided with the 100^th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution.

He said the visit demonstrated Vietnam’s consistent policy of respecting and prioritizing its comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia. He said Vietnam considers Russia its important, reliable top partner and praised the bilateral political cooperation, especially the close cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Russia United Party of Prime Minister Medvedev. The two leaders affirmed their determination to heighten the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and agreed on ways to deepen bilateral ties.
