(VOVworld) - President Tran Dai Quang received the Ambassadors of the Netherlands and Azerbaijan in separate receptions on Wednesday. He urged for more cooperation with the Netherlands in ship building and called for further Dutch support in education, environment, agriculture and water management. The President expected further comprehensive relations with the EU based on the EU- Vietnam Free Trade Agreement.

The President also welcomed the establishment of the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Joint Committee on Economic, Trade, Science and Technology Cooperation. He called for more cooperation in oil and gas exploration between the two countries and directed an early opening of a Vietnamese Embassy in Azerbaijan.
