(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang on Saturday paid fact-finding visits to foreign-invested businesses in industrial parks in Binh Duong province, where a number of extremist acts took place a few days ago.

President Sang said that the wrongdoings by some extremists affected foreign investors and Vietnam’s image. He reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of ensuring the safety of foreign investors and helping them quickly resume their operations to guarantee that Vietnam is a safe and attractive destination to foreign investors and friends.

During talks with provincial leaders, President Sang said that what happened recently is deplorable and unacceptable to investors and workers. He asked Binh Duong province to help the businesses quickly resume their operations and work out policies to further new investors.
