(VOVworld)-President Truong Tan Sang paid a working visit to the 297 air defense brigade during his visit to the northern province of Phu Tho on Sunday.

He praised the local military zone’s effort in maintaining security and national defense. He urged the local military Party organization to care more for socio economic development and infrastructure upgrade, especially patrol road along border area with China and Laos for peace and development. Earlier on Saturday, the President participated at a ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of Viet Tri town in Phu Tho province and conferred the Independence Order first class to local government and people.
