President visits Children's Hospital 1 prior to Vietnamese Doctors' Day
(VOVWORLD) -On the occasion of Vietnamese Doctor's Day (February 27), on Thursday, President Vo Van Thuong visited nurses, doctors, and medical staff at Children's Hospital 1 in Ho Chi Minh City.

President Thuong applauded the team of doctors and nurses for taking care of people's health and said he hopes they will reap greater successes.
He called on the hospital to expand international cooperation and better the management work to build smart, friendly, green, clean, and beautiful hospital.
Efforts should be made to maximize scientific and technological achievements in management and treatment and soon achieve the goal of becoming one of high-quality pediatric medical centers in Southeast Asia, President Thuong said.
Children's Hospital 1, Vietnam’s leading pediatric medical facility, serves 1,500 beds a day and 5,000 patients at its peak.
