The journalists who President To Lam visited are Ho Tien Nghi, former Assistant to the Party General Secretary and former General Director of Vietnam News Agency; Ha Dang, former Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Cultural Ideology; Vu Van Hien, former General Director of Vietnam Television; and Phan Quang, former President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and former General Director of the Voice of Vietnam.

Congratulating them on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the President affirmed that the Party and State honor journalists who have made many contributions to the cause of revolutionary journalism, the development of national press in particular and national construction and defense in general.

The veteran journalists also congratulated President To Lam who has just been trusted by the Party, the National Assembly and the people with a new responsibility and expressed confidence that the President will make more contributions to national construction and development.

They affirmed that they will continue to promote the tradition of revolutionary journalism, educate the young generation, and actively contribute to national development.
