The President praised the women entrepreneurs for their important contributions to Vietnam’s overall achievements over the past many years and the realization of Vietnam’s goal to become a high-income developed country by 2045.
With women accounting for half of the national population and half of the workforce, President Thuong said that the Association which has only 8,000 members needs to expand its network throughout 63 provinces and cities.
Association President Thai Huong said the Association has 33 branches in 32 provinces and cities with members working in various sectors, employing millions of workers, and contributing millions of USD to the state budget annually.
