President Vo Van Thuong to visit Austria from July 23

(VOVWORLD) -At the invitation of Austria’s President Alexander Van der Bellen, President Vo Van Thuong and his wife will begin their three-day official visit to Austria on Sunday.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Nguyen Trung Kien highlighted the visit in an interview with a VOV correspondent on Friday.
“President Vo Van Thuong's visit to Austria affirms that Vietnam attaches great importance to the friendly relationship with Austria and look forward to the future of this relationship, based on the foundations of people-to-people exchange, cultural, educational and training cooperation and effective economic cooperation."
"During the upcoming trip, the President will have meetings with the President of Austria and Speaker of the Senate. He will visit important localities such as Vienna city and the state of Burgenland. The President will also have a working session with the United Nations Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA),” Kien said.
The Vietnamese Ambassador affirmed that amid regional and global uncertainties, there are many opportunities for relationship between Vietnam and Austria to develop and bring mutual benefits to both countries.
