(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended three summits online on Wednesday to discuss regional cooperation in protecting water resources and the environment in general, boosting trade and investment, and addressing shared challenges.

The three events included the 9th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS 9) Summit, the 10th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Summit, and the 11th Cambodia-Laos-Viet Nam (CLV) Development Triangle Area Summit.
At each event, Prime Minister Phuc reiterated Vietnam’s commitment to regional cooperation mechanisms that facilitate the sustainable development of each country and the sub-region as a whole.
Mr. Phuc’s attendance was at the invitation of Cambodia Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen, and Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith.
