Chairing a meeting of the State steering committee for building and developing the defense-security industry in Hanoi on Wednesday, Mr. Phuc  said that amid rapid changes in the region and across the wider world, Vietnam’s weapon production and repair capacity has been enhanced, helping to boost national strength and reduce imports. The Prime Minister asked the steering committee, relevant ministries and departments to promote their role, responsibility and coordination to speed up the implementation of programs to fulfill targets on developing the defense-security industry in the new period.
