(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will be chairman of the National Committee on E-Government, it was announced on Tuesday.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam will be vice chairman of the Committee. The Committee will be responsible for researching and recommending to the Government and the Prime Minister guidelines, strategies, mechanisms, and policies that promotes the development of e-government, a digital economy, and smart cities, and facilitates the implementation of the 4th Industrial Revolution in Vietnam.
