Prime Minister meets Speakers of both Japanese Houses and business leaders
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held talks with Speaker of the House of Representatives and Speaker of the House of Councilors during his visit to Japan on Wednesday.

During the talks, the Prime Minister reiterated Vietnam’s wish to promote comprehensive relations with Japan and strengthen cooperation for peace, stability, cooperation and development. He called for more exchanges of visits and legislature cooperation as well as labor, agriculture and cultural ties between Vietnam and Japan. He said Vietnam treasures Japanese ODA and expected more privileged ODA sources from Japan.
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tadamori Oshima, called for more cooperation in all fields and support educational exchanges especially among the youth.

Speaker of the House of Councilors Chuichi Date praised Vietnam’s economic progress and pledged further support to Vietnam’s social economic development.
On the same day, Prime Minister Phuc met major Japanese business representatives. He called for more Japanese manufacturing clusters to operate in Vietnam to boost the local supporting industry. He pledged strong government administrative reform to facilitate business growth for national prosperity.
The Prime Minister also held separate meetings with leaders of MUJI Bank, Misubishi Group and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
