During a working visit to the High Command of the Border Guard in Hanoi on Friday, Prime Minister Phuc commended border forces for firmly defending Vietnam’s territorial sovereignty and border security and maintaining peace, friendship, and cooperation in border areas. He said the border guard has excelled in the fight against crimes and  border foreign affairs.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said, “The outstanding achievement in 2020 and also the current heavy task of the border guard is that the border guard must be one of the core, leading forces in combating natural disasters and epidemics, search and rescue, COVID-19 prevention and control, and prevention of illegal entry into Vietnam.”
