Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh (R) meets Chief Representative of Japan’s Komeito Party Yamaguchi Natsuo

Prime Minister Chinh said he hopes that the Komeito Party will continue to pay attention to promoting the Vietnam - Japan extensive strategic partnership, the exchange between the two countries' friendship parliamentarian groups and people-to-people exchange.

He also proposed that the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Komeito Party hold exchange activities and share experience, especially in areas such as administration, management, training, natural resources, transport, tourism and improving the quality of human resources.

On the same day, at a meeting with Shii Kazuo, Chairman of the Presidium of the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) Central Committee, Prime Minister Chinh highly appreciated the trust and traditional solidarity between the two Parties, underlining that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always remember, treasure and be grateful to the sentiments and support from the JCP and people of Japan during the past struggle for national liberation and today's national construction and defense.
