Addressing the closing session of the Conference on Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Development of the Mekong Delta in Can Tho on Wednesday, the Prime Minister warned of hefty challenges facing the region, including climate change, sea water rise and infiltration, considering them inevitable and called for adaptation to turn them into opportunities. He said regional zoning plan must take into account climate change adaptation and smart management of water resources.
