PM Chinh’s participation in the meeting demonstrates the importance that the G7 and Japan attach to Vietnam’s role in the region. This is the third time Vietnamese leaders have attended the summit.
As Vietnam and Japan marking the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties in 2023, Mr. Chinh’s trip is expected to further strengthen mutual trust and drive bilateral relations forward.
