Prime Minister Chinh, who is also head of the Steering Committee, requested to push ahead with policy response capacity, reforming internal administrative procedures, and promoting administrative discipline while improving the quality of civil servants.

He said that administrative reform has been actively and synchronously implemented in the six areas of institutions, administration, organization of the state apparatus, the civil service policy, public finance, and building and developing a digital and e-government.

Prime Minister Chinh asked members of the Steering Committee and leaders of all ministries, sectors, and localities to view administrative reform as a focused task and a criterion for assessing officials, civil servants and public employees’ performance.

He urged all cities and provinces to promote agency leaders’ sense of responsibility towards administrative reform; to accelerate the settlement of problems facing people and enterprises; to speed up the re-organization of their subordinate agencies and units and ultimately increase inspections to boost discipline and stringently handle wrongdoings.

The Prime Minister assigned specific tasks to ministries, sectors, and localities to effectively implement the State administrative reform program for the 2021‑2030 period, notably in tandem with digital transformation, thereby contributing to carry out political and socio-economic tasks for 2023 and beyond.
