Prime Minister works with Rheiland-Pfalz State’s leaders
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his spouse arrived in Mainz, the capital city of Rheiland-Pfalz State, on Wednesday, as part of his visit to Germany.
He worked with Malu Dreyer, President of the Federal Council and State Governor. Both sides spoke highly of the developing relationship between the two countries’ parliaments. Mr. Phuc suggested that the German Parliament support the establishment of the Germany-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group and encourage German businesses to invest in Vietnam in energy, railway, supportive industry, pharmacy, transport infrastructure, tourism, biological technology, and food processing. He called on the State’s administration to boost cooperation with Vietnam in training human resources, especially Vietnamese nurses for working in local hospitals.

Earlier, during a working session with Volker Wissing, Deputy Governor and Minister for Economic Affairs of Rheiland-Pfalz State, Prime Minister Phuc reiterated economic cooperation as a pillar of the Vietnam-Germany Strategic Partnership. He said Vietnam welcomes and creates favorable conditions for German groups to do business in Vietnam, contributing to deepening the relationship between the two countries.
