Speaking at the Supreme People’s Procuracy’s year-end meeting, President Quang asked the procuracy sector to effectively respond to Party guidelines and state policies on justice.

“We need to uphold responsibility and improve the quality of judicial activities, focus on combating crimes, particularly new crimes. It’s important to increase coordination between relevant agencies to accelerate the investigation, prosecution, and judgment of corruption cases and acquisition of corrupted state property. We need to improve the quality of judges at courts and inspect the settlement of administrative and civil cases,” Mr. Quang said.

The President asked the sector to expand international cooperation and fully implement agreements on criminal judicial assistance.
