Protestors not obstruct general election

(VOVworld) - Leader of anti-government protesters in Thailand, Suthep Thaugsuban has said they will not hamper the general election on Sunday.

But he has called on the Thai people to boycott the election. The interim government of Prime Minsister Yingluck Shinawatra has repeated to push ahead with the election despite warnings from the opposition of escalating violence and worsening political division. Thailand will deploy 10,000 policemen in Bangkok on February 2nd.
The ruling Puea Thai Party of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is predicted to win in the coming election. The opposition Democratic Party has announced to boycott it.
