Putin expected to address St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to deliver in person a key speech on the impact of anti-Russian sanctions on food prices at the June 17 plenary session of the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

Themed "New World - New Opportunities", the Forum will include discussions for small and medium-sized enterprises, innovative business, medicine safety, and sports week.
This year's forum will not include the customary meeting between President Putin and leaders of foreign companies, but Putin could organize a series of meetings with selected businessmen or groups of entrepreneurs.
