During the meeting, President Putin stated that Russia would agree to a ceasefire and engage in negotiations if Ukraine abandons its intention to join NATO and withdraws troops from four regions: the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the self-proclaimed Lugansk People's Republic (LPR), Kherson, and Zaporozhye, which Moscow has claimed. He assured that Russia is prepared to ensure the safe withdrawal of Ukrainian agencies.

Additionally, President Putin emphasized the need to build a security system in the Eurasian region as the world becomes increasingly multipolar. He proposed that this system should include all Eurasian countries, including NATO member states, to foster a Greater Eurasian space of security and prosperity.
