Putin: Russia will do all it can to end Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
(VOVWORLD) - Russia is working to end the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as soon as possible in order to save the lives of the people, said Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday at a meeting with several religious organizations as Russia celebrated this year's National Unity Day.

The President said Russia is in contact with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, and said he hopes the two sides can work out their differences by peaceful means.
Days earlier, President Putin discussed by phones with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliev and Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashynian ways to end the conflict with.
At the 17th annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club in Moscow last month, Putin said Russia is more concerned about this issue than any other country because it has close ties with both Armenia and Azerbaijan.
