(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday vowed to respond in kind if the US quits the Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces Treaty and deploys missiles in Europe.

He said the European nations should understand that they will expose their territory to a possible retaliatory strike. Mr. Putin said he wants to discuss the INF with the US President at the next summit in Paris.
