Participants applauded local tourism potential with attractive, distinctive, and new destinations. Tran Luc, Deputy Director of Saigon Tourist Danang Compnay, said: “Travel companies are very interested in new destinations because visitors want to explore something more than Da Nang, Hoi An, and My Son. But we need to improve services and investment in this field.”

Le Tri Thanh, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee, said his province has given incentives for travel companies to bring in tourists: “Planning should be based on the themes of tours and products. Instead of investing in new destinations, we have helped travel companies to bring tourist there. We will learn lessons after the trial run.”
