Religious establishments asked to cancel all gatherings
(VOVWORLD) - The Government Committee for Religious Affairs has asked all religious organizations to cancel all gatherings as an effort to curb the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Head of the Committee Vu Chien Thang said that the epidemic is getting more complicated and rapidly spreading and asked for the cancellation of all religious gatherings as from midnight Saturday until further notice. Mr. Thang asked the Provincial and Municipal People’s Committees to strictly deal with fake news and actions that abuse religious activities to cause panic about the disease in the community.
