(VOVworld)- The Vietnam Journalists' Association (VJA), Television of Vietnam (VTV) in collaboration with Vietnam National Media Group hold a  "Memory of  Dien Bien" exchange program in Hanoi on Saturday. The event is part of diverse activities marking the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (1954-2014). The program featured stories and memories of journalists, reporters and artists engaging in the Dien Bien Phu battle such as Nguyen Khac Tiep, Nguyen Xuan Mai, Pham Phu Bang Ngo Manh Lan. It is the memory of a fierce war period with rudimentary equipment, but outdated newspapers, articles and posters were launched in time, reflecting the fighting situation and the spiritual life of officers and soldiers at the battlefield. The stories about how to print newspapers and coloured pictures, and how to disseminate information from the battlefield to localities were also shared by veteran journalists. VJA Vice Chairman Ha Minh Hue said:“The program " Memory of Dien Bien” is an opportunity for us to recall unforgettable memories, images and emotions to better understand the importance and role of journalism in the propagation of the Dien Bien Phu campaign and learn more about spiritual strength and willpower of the people " .
