(VOVworld) – Requiems to commemorate war martyrs will be held mid next month at Hung Thanh pagoda, Phu Quoc prison, and martyr cemetery, in Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang province. This is part of activities to mark the 70^th Independence Day on September 2^nd, 2015. Representatives of the government committee for religious affairs, Vietnam Buddhist Shangha, local authorities, and people and Buddhist followers across Vietnam will attend the requiems.
