Role of Vietnam Farmers' Association, VNese farmers enhanced to boost national industrialization
(VOVWORLD) - A seminar was held on Sunday in Son La province to discuss the Vietnam Farmers' Association and Vietnamese farmer in the national industrialization and modernization period until 2030 with a vision to 2045.

Luong Quoc Doan, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, said the seminar raised awareness of the position, role, functions, and tasks of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the great contributions of Vietnamese farmers to national industrialization and modernization and international integration.
Participants exchanged their experiences and identified difficulties in implementing tasks set by local Farmers' Associations.

Nguyen Thanh Cong, Deputy Chairman of the Son La provincial People’s Committee, said, “In the context of renewal and economic integration, farmers must control their own means of production and know how to fully tap those means. A class of peasants is needed who can master technology. Son La has piloted an e-trading floor at nongsansonla.vn where the people of Son La can sell their products.”
