(VOV) – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has warned the US and the West to come up with new proposals to secure Russia’s agreement to a missile defense shield in Europe considering it a test for US and NATO’s readiness to develop a partnership ties with Russia. Medvedev made the appeal at an international conference on Euro - Atlantic security in Moscow on Friday. He stressed that coordination of actions between Russia and NATO will not be raised unless the issue relating to the National Missile Defense is resolved. Russia asked its Western partners to pledge the system will not go against Moscow and the commitment should be ensured legally.
