He told reporters at the Chinese Embassy that the US should do much more than now, so that there’s real effective international cooperation on the issue, asking the US to find effective ways to resume dialogue and negotiation.
Also on Friday, Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzia urged North Korea and other countries to participate in meaningful negotiations. Nebenzia said Moscow will enforce sanctions imposed on North Korea by the UN’s latest resolution approved on Tuesday following Pyongyang’s 6th missile test. He stressed that the resolution includes political steps that the US and other countries need to promote.
