(VOVworld) - The European Union has again missed a chance to get off the track of a simplified perception of the situation in Ukraine.

Russia’s ambassador to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov was commenting on the decision by the top diplomats from the 28 members of the EU to extend individual sanctions against Russia and eastern Ukrainian militias adopted on Thursday. He said the final document contains no criticism of the Ukrainian authorities for the situation. The Russian diplomat said Moscow would not negotiate with the EU on the sanctions because this was a multilateral decision by the bloc.
