(VOVworld) - The Kremlin said on Sunday that Russia is not sending any military equipment to militia in eastern Ukraine. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reiterated in an interview with Moscow's Govorit Moskva radio that no weapons have been supplied to eastern Ukraine. The announcement followed Ukraine army spokesperson Andriy Lysenko’s statement that Ukraine had detected federalists in eastern Ukraine armed with new Russian military equipment including 3 Grad rocket systems transferred from Russia in the previous 24 hours. Meanwhile, Russian and Ukrainian border guards and custom officials have agreed to proceed with the inspection of a first group of trucks from Russia's humanitarian convoy to Ukraine, the International Committee of the Red Cross said on Sunday.
