(VOVworld)--The 2012 Russian presidential election will officially take place tomorrow/ on Sunday, March 4^th . The president will be elected for the new, extended term of 6 years. Russia has launched a website to monitor online the progress of the presidential election at 94 thousand polling stations across the country. In Moscow , authorities also had new ideas for the Election Day including the activities to prepare for the election called the open day. These activities were held for a long before the election in 12 polling stations in the capital city. The results of tomorrow’s presidential election will shape the way for the development of Russia for the next decade.
