(VOVWORLD) - The Russian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday handed the US Embassy in Moscow a list of its diplomats who must leave.

The Ministry announced in a post that a senior diplomat with the US Embassy in Moscow was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to receive a list of American diplomats declared ‘persona non grata’.
This move retaliates for Washington’s expulsion of Moscow’s New York-based representatives to the United Nations and a Russian national working with the UN Secretariat.
