(VOVworld) - Russia will build eight nuclear power units in Iran, according to a new partnership agreement signed in Moscow on Tuesday by the head of Russia’s Rosatom, Sergey Kirienko, and the chief of the Atomic Energy Agency of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi.

Under the agreement, Rosatom will help Iran build a maximum of four additional power units at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in the second phase. The Rosatom will build another 4 units in other parts of Iran but has not confirmed the exact date. Russia also pledged to train Iranian experts in this field.
