Russia ready for dialogue with NATO
(VOVworld) – Russia and NATO are experiencing deep mutual mistrust and it will be not easy to overcome it, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Tuesday, one day prior to the ambassador-level meeting of the NATO-Russia Council.

Peskov said dialogue between Russia and NATO is not easy because trust was destroyed very quickly and renewing it will take much longer, but Russia is still ready for dialogue and believes dialogue will continue.
Peskov reiterated Russia's concern over the military buildup by NATO in countries neighboring Russia, which threatens Russia's national interests and security. He said NATO is unable to adjust itself to modern conditions and therefore sticks to its original task of deterring Russia and remaining in confrontation with it.
